Smart Thermostats in Multifamily

Virginia provides new options for receiving LIHTC QAP Green Points

This October, the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) Board will approve changes to the 2019 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) which will provide developer teams a greater variety of options to obtain Green Points. This change aligns Virginia with many other states where developers are provided with options in choosing the green program that is right for their project.

Report: Philly’s Home Prices Jumped 5 Percent in Early 2017

The numbers are officially in: Philly’s real estate market got off to a big start in 2017, with home prices rising an average of 5 percent.​

That’s according to economist Kevin Gillen’s latest “Philadelphia Housing Report: Q1 2017,” which found that despite usual trends this time of year, home prices increased and sales were “both exceptionally and unusually strong.”
