Program/Project Manager

General Description

MaGrann Associates is an innovative leader in energy efficiency engineering and green building consulting.  We are headquartered in Mount Laurel, NJ with offices in New York City, Connecticut and Washington DC, and operations throughout the Northeast region.

 

Reporting to the Vice President of New York Operations, and with additional support from the Program Development team, the Program Manager will be responsible for MaGrann’s coordination and delivery of a significant new customer electrification program for a major utility client, including:

  1. Set-up and start-up of program operations

  2. Coordination and liaison with key implementation subcontractors

  3. Coordination and liaison with technical operations for internally assigned projects

  4. Progress tracking, reporting and client communications

 

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills and be a competent user of Excel, Word, Outlook and related applications.  A passion for sustainability in the built environment a plus and project coordination or management experience in a related field preferred.


Principal Duties

  • Thoroughly understand the program, contract, objectives and operational approach

  • Set up and manage processes to coordinate work flows between client, implementation contractors, internal operations and management

  • Accountable for ensuring delivery is consistent with scope of work and goal requirements

  • Track and report on the progress of individual project activities and overall program delivery

  • Program administration functions to support invoicing and payments, in coordination with MaGrann’s finance team

  • Establish relationships and support engagement with relevant external funding programs and program administrators

  • Problem solving and resolution of escalated project or customer issues

  • Support program outreach, marketing and pubic facing communications

  • Client meetings, contractor and customer site visits as needed

  • Input into ongoing program design updates and future program evolution

  • Other duties as assigned


Supplemental Information

  • Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably with up to 3 years experience in project management, program administration, sales & marketing, and/or management in a construction, energy efficiency or related field

  • Must have excellent written, verbal, presentation and organizational skills and be highly competent working with applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Must be self-directed with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal resources and external clients, customers and stakeholders

  • Ideal candidate will be familiar with heat pump and other electrification technologies, as well as relevant building permitting processes

  • Full time salaried, exempt position; Compensation will be commensurate with skills, credentials, and experience; Annual performance and merit review

  • “Hybrid” location (NYC office based but with flexibility to work remotely as well as perform site visits and attend in-person meetings and events as needed).

  • Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000
