August 5, 2017

The Delaware Valley Green Building Council held the 2017 New Gravity Housing Conference August 3-4. The event focused on the reality of climate change altering the way buildings will have to be designed, built and operated in the future. Techniques and practices were addressed and attendees participated in workshops, technical trainings, research-based lectures, building and neighborhood tours and networking.

Key topics included lessons learned from the first 7 PHFA funded Passive House projects, resolving conflicts between funder-required energy benchmarking systems, optimizing pro formas for high performance affordable housing, and much more! This conference was informed by the PHFA Project, an effort to scale the adoption of high performance affordable housing across the country.
