Now you can offer your customers a guarantee of their new home’s future energy performance with a HERS Rating, ENERGY STAR®, LEED or NGBS certification from MaGrann Associates. Total energy usage (not just for heating and cooling) is guaranteed (and transferable) for the next two years!If the household’s actual annual energy consumption is higher than guaranteed, eGuarantee for Homes will pay up to 100% of the difference over the guaranteed usage! eGUARANTEE™ for Homes Steps
1. Select MaGrann as your HERS Rater. Choose just the HERS rating or create a package including eGuarantee for Homes and any additional services from our extensive list including ENERGY STAR, LEED and NGBS certification, code support, quality inspections, engineering design and commissioning.
2. We help you complete a Builder Application & Agreement, and we handle the enrollment submittal to Bonded Builders Warranty Group.
3. We provide you with training and marketing materials you and your sales team can use to promote eGuarantee for Homes and its many benefits to your prospective homebuyers.
4. As each home completes and closes, you provide the customer’s contact information, which we submit to Bonded Builders Warranty Group on your behalf, along with final energy rating information to establish the home’s guaranteed energy use.
5. The customer receives a certificate from Bonded Builders Warranty Group confirming the eGuarantee and explaining how it works. The guarantee is activated (and transferable to any new owner of the home for the balance of the guarantee period) when the customer registers online with Bonded Builders Warranty Group and chooses a usage reporting option.
