Green Building United Announces Groundbreaker Award Finalists
August 27, 2018
Green Building United recently announced the finalists for the 2018 Groundbreaker Awards, celebrating green building leadership in the Philadelphia region, and we are pleased to announce that the MaGrann-submitted project Carpenter Lane is among the impressive list of potential winners.
Carpenter Lane is a mixed use development in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that includes single story residences, coworking spaces, a public forecourt and multiple scales and layers of plantings that create a vibrant space for community interactions and development. Designed, built, and tested to achieve LEED for Homes and Commercial Interiors at the Platinum level, this project’s list of sustainable features also includes green roofs, modular construction, heat recovery ventilation, daylighting strategies including clerestory windows, low-flow faucets and fixtures, and much more. MaGrann Associates was the LEED for Homes Consultant for the project.

"Congratulations to Carpenter Lane and the rest of the finalists! We look forward to celebrating the exciting new developments in green building at the awards ceremony next month," said MaGrann President Rich Selverian.
The three winners will be announced during the Groundbreaker Awards event on Wednesday, September 26th at the National Museum of American Jewish History.
