The Belnor Senior Residences ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on-site in Suitland, Maryland earlier this month. MaGrann's Director of Business Development, Mike Brown, attended the opening of the new 122-unit new construction affordable senior housing apartment complex.

MaGrann Associates was the Green Building Consultant for the project, completing the ENERGY STAR Multifamily HighRise consulting, verifying compliance with Enterprise Green Communities 2011 criteria and completing a Utility Analysis study.

 

The four-story building developed by Mission First Housing Group in partnership with the LAB Group and The Henson Development Company includes ENERGY STAR appliances, efficient individual HVAC units and low VOC materials for improved air quality.

 

Financed using FHA Mortgage Insurance and 4% LIHTC Bonds, the senior (62+) living apartments are currently available for rent.
