Mark MaGrann
President & CEO
Mark MaGrann is President and founder of MaGrann Associates. Mark is a key player within the residential building industry both regionally and nationally. He has contributed to the technical development of utility and state sponsored energy home programs in New Jersey since their inception and has been a vocal advocate of leveraging the ENERGY STAR label for homes throughout the country.
With 34 years of experience in the construction industry, including residential insulation, homebuilding and remodeling, as well as energy efficiency consulting, Mark is a frequent advisor, speaker and instructor for trade groups, professional associations, and government agencies. He has served as chairperson of the Technical Committee of The Insulation Contractors Association of America (ICAA). He currently serves as a member of the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) Construction, Codes, and Standards Committee, as well as the Green and Energy Subcommittees. He has served as a judge for NAHB Research’s Energy Value in Housing Awards and is a trainer for the NAHB University of Housing. Mark is also a NAHB Certified Green Professional (CGP).
Mark has contributed to the development of numerous technical standards and is an active supporter of the Home Energy Rating System (HERS). He is involved in the development of green building initiatives in New Jersey and elsewhere.
Mark is a New Jersey Builders Association Hall of Fame member. He is a graduate of Rutgers College and is a member of The Rutgers University Board of Overseers.
