Mark MaGrann
Chairman & Founder
Since founding MaGrann Associates in 1982, Mark has been responsible
for developing the company into a leading provider of residential energy
engineering, consulting and program implementation services. He
is ultimately responsible for the delivery of excellence in all MaGrann
Associates services.
As Principal Consultant to MaGrann Associates’ implementation
of the New Jersey ENERGY STAR Homes Program, Mark is responsible for
working closely with program managers regarding program technical design
and market impact strategies. He acts as a liaison to numerous
industry groups, and represents the program at local, regional and national
industry and promotional forums.
Mark has provided oversight and direction to MaGrann Associates services
in support of Societal Benefits Charge (SBC) sponsored energy efficiency
programs for all of the New Jersey electric and gas utilities, the participating
utilities under the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) umbrella
in New England and New Jersey, Southern Company, LA Department of Water & Power,
Tucson Electric, and Mississippi Power, among others.

Since 1976, Mark has played a leading role in the home insulation and
construction industries in New Jersey, both as Vice President of National
Home Insulators Inc. from 1976 to 1982, and as Owner and President of
MaGrann Construction (currently producing 3-5 “craftsman” homes
each year).
Mark has a B.A. from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He
currently sits on the Energy Committee of the National Association of
Home Builders (NAHB), the Technical Committee of the Insulation Contractors
Association of America (ICAA), and the Board of Directors of the Northeast
HERS Alliance.
