Bruce Ballard understands MaGrann Associates’ passion for progressive energy conservation programs and has the ability to lead the company with over 27 years of outstanding performance and leadership experience. His keen ability to develop and implement strategies for corporations has resulted in unprecedented growth. As President, Bruce is responsible for directing all business operations for MaGrann’s multiple divisions: ENERGY STAR Homes, Green Building, Engineering Services Diagnostic Services and Code Compliance.
Prior to his appointment as President of MaGrann, Ballard served as President / CEO and Director of FirstGroup America, an international transportation company. Responsible for operational excellence, his strategic vision helped to rebuild FirstGroup America with a proven track record in driving sustainable growth in revenues and profits. Implementing a cutting edge fuel hedging program, Ballard saved the company millions of dollars in expenses. Driven to expand the company’s fleet, Ballard acquired operations across North America which expanded the revenue base of FirstGroup America which led to synergies across the company.
In the span of 16 years, Ballard served in various executive level positions at Aramark Corporation. While with Aramark, Ballard was responsible for food services, plant operations, maintenance, new business development, new product development, selection of management team and managed facility services for numerous colleges and universities. His astute attention to detail resulted in retaining current business and simultaneously building millions of dollars of revenue in new business, delivering profitable growth for the company.
